Dogging in Cumbria

Cumbria encloses what was once Cumberland and about half a million people live in this beautiful area. Much dogging in Cumbria takes place in the countryside, and here is a list of where you can hook up with other doggers in Cumbria. Dogging in the Lake District is very much alive - this area is not just for ramblers!

Barrow Dogging

Along the A5087 coast road in between Barrow and Ulverston you will come across lots of nice quiet places, in particular near Aldingham.

Carlisle dogging

Carlisle doggers head for the High Stand car park near Cotehill. It is secluded and quiet - most of the time :)<

Keswick Dogging

Keswick doggers head south out of the town, and hook up very close to the oh so photogenic old stone bridge at Ashness Bridge. Drive over the bridge and turn left into car park.

Workington Dogging

Workington doggers head for a place called oldside where the old golf course is. Alternatively there is the car park facing the sea front at Harrington Marina.
