Dogging in Buckinghamshire

This is the best list of where to go dogging in Buckinghamshire. You will be able to track down other doggers looking to enjoy dogging in Bucks.

Amersham Doggers

  1. Near Amersham Audi, at the Blackhorse bridge, take Raans Road heading east, and the which will lead you to a large area on the left - Raans Field.
  2. Ashgrove picnic site on the A413 on the way to Great Missenden. It is well signposted, and don't forget to take a blanket.

Buckingham Dogging

You'll find a car park just off the A421 in the direction of Milton Keynes. It's on the left a short distance out of town. It's really quiet and secluded here, and at most seven cars can squeeze in, so try to leave room for others when parking. Forget Tingewick and Adstock - these are nothing more than wild goose chases.

High Wycombe Dogging

Christmas Common. Very close to M40 Junction 5

Milton Keynes Dogging

    Apsley Woods between Bow Brickhill and Woburn Sands. Ignore the main car park (as they shut it every night), but there is another one further down the road towards Bow Brickhill that's worth a shot.
  1. The Stony Stratford nature area, off Queen Eleanor Street, has become a popular haunt for Milton Keynes doggers. It can be found off Queen Eleanor Street. Take the small access road which is at the side of the water treatment works; it leads into a quiet car park in the shadow of the A5 bypass.
  2. Head south skipping past Blecthley and take the A4146 towards Leighton Buzzard. At Great Brickhill Road turn left and just past the recently renovated Three Locks pub (named after the canal locks) you will find a car park. Go down to the furthest end and who knows who will be there.

Slough Dogging

We are never quite sure if Slough is in Berkshire or Bucks or both. However, if you live locally you are used to finding your way around and you will need to find your way to Black Park on the Slough to Uxbridge Road - and in particular Strawberry Wood.

Also worthy of mention is Cockshoots Wood (yes. that is what is called) on the A413 between Wendover and Great Missenden.
